Design Process
My design process begins on my iPad in Procreate. I will sketch out an idea there, then ink it loosely, and come back again with another coat of ink this time, much more carefully drawn. Then I will export the file to my desired file type, and it is ready to put in Adobe Illustrator. Once the image is imported, I start with an image trace to get the base shapes down. I will then come and clean up rough edges, text, and outlines where needed in order to make sure that everything is as tidy as possible for the final design. I then outline any text, expand any strokes to shapes, and start to clean the file for the printer.
